Grinding jars and media for Across International (Ai) ball mills are offered in stainless steel, natural Brazilian agate, yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide, alumina ceramic, highly polished tungsten carbide, nylon and PTFE. Vacuum grinding jars and vacuum jar jackets are also available, including 50ml and 80ml sizes with item numbers given in each listing.
The main decision is matching jar and ball material to the hardness of the sample and the contamination you can accept. Parts for PQ-N Series mills include rubber O-rings, silicone sealing gaskets, planetary and transient gears for the PQ-N2, a jar holder for the PQN04, and jar clamping devices for the PQ-N04, PQ-N2 and PQ-N4.
