Overhead Stirrers
Overhead stirrers mix liquids in beakers, flasks and vessels where a magnetic stir bar is not enough. This section lists the BENCHMARK overhead stirrer range along with two Caframo models: the BDC1850 Ultra Torque and the BDC2002 Compact.
As the names indicate, the BDC1850 is aimed at higher-torque work, while the BDC2002 suits benches where space is limited. Consider the viscosity and volume of what you are stirring, and the stand and clamp arrangement in your lab, when choosing between them.
