100L Glass Reactor - Science King

The Science King Jacketed Reactors are ideal for reaction applications involving extreme temperatures. They include an inner jacket for cooling or heating and an outer jacket for vacuum insulation. The outer jacket also alleviates moisture buildup so you can always see exactly what's happening inside the system. 

Overview

The 100L Glass Reactor is a Science King jacketed reactor built around a glass vessel with a 100 L volume. It is made for reaction work at extreme temperatures, where the vessel contents need to be held well below or well above room temperature for the length of a run. The vessel has two jackets. Heating or cooling fluid circulates through the inner jacket to bring the contents to the set temperature. The outer jacket is vacuum-insulated, which slows heat transfer to and from the room and limits moisture building up so you can always see what is happening inside the vessel.

What does each jacket do?
