CALFLO AF is a highly efficient heat transfer fluid recommended for systems requiring a greater resistance to oxidation operating with bulk temperatures up to 316°C (600°F).

  • Formulated for systems where fluid resistance to oxidative breakdown is critical
  • Provides high thermal efficiency in systems operating up to 316°C/600°F
  • Demonstrates better oxidative resistance when compared with many leading competitive fluids

Calflo AF is a heat transfer fluid for closed, non-pressurized, liquid phase systems such as oil-heated jacketed reactors, heating circulators and process heaters. It carries heat from the heater to the vessel jacket and back, and is chosen where the fluid will spend long hours at high temperature.

For the buyer, the key numbers are on both ends. A pour point of -39 C means it still flows when a system starts cold, while a flash point of 217 C should be kept in mind when setting heater limits and venting. Its viscosity drops as it heats, so pumps move it easily at working temperature.

Use it only in closed systems as listed in the specifications, keep it away from ignition sources, and check its condition periodically to get the longest service life.

Quick and reliable service provided! - Scheduled an appointment with Wayne the other day for a Dry Ice order pick up, he will go over and above for his customers to make sure we are well taken care of. Even with a broken foot !

Thanks again Wayne!

Wayne there has an excellent store, he has everything, really nice stuff at good prices, ultimately very fair compared to others. I will certainly be going back for everything I need. Got some things from a different place and spent 50% more, just go see Wayne first, he seems like he wants to help you out more than sell you out the door.
