Extractor King technical grade isopropyl alcohol, 99%, in a 20 litre container. Fast, residue-free evaporation for surface preparation, degreasing and equipment cleaning.
Isopropanol or isopropyl alcohol is a clear, colorless liquid that is a major component of rubbing alcohol as well as regular household items such as cleaners, disinfectants, and hand sanitizers; it also can be found in pharmaceuticals. 99.9% isopropyl alcohol is great for cleaning and disinfecting.
Cleaning extraction equipment with IPA
99% isopropyl alcohol dissolves plant oils, resins and waxes and evaporates quickly without leaving a residue, which makes it a standard cleaner for extraction columns, recovery tanks, stainless parts, glassware and rotary evaporators between runs. The 20 litre jug keeps a busy lab supplied.

Questions
What does tech grade mean? Technical (industrial) grade at 99% isopropanol - meant for cleaning, degreasing and surface preparation, not for medical or food use.
IPA or acetone for cleaning? IPA is gentler on seals and plastics and is the usual choice for routine equipment cleaning. Acetone is stronger and faster on hardened resin, glue and paint, but it attacks many plastics and rubbers.
