Extractor King recommends that you tighten all High Pressure Clamps to 20-30LBS of torque. Do not tighten high pressure bolts with an impact gun as  this may cause threads to jump or be stripped which can cause failure of the nuts or gasket.

This 1-inch high pressure tri-clamp clamp joins two 1-inch tri-clamp ferrules and the gasket between them into one sealed joint. Where a standard clamp closes with a hand-turned wing nut, this one closes with a bolt and nut, so the joint can be drawn down evenly and stay tight while the system is under pressure.

At 1 inch, it suits the small connections in an extraction or solvent system: valves, hose adapters, pressure gauges and sample ports. These are the joints that get opened most often, so a clamp that seats the same way every time matters.

The body is SS304 stainless steel, which stands up to solvents and repeated cleaning. Its 1500 PSI rating at room temperature, and most of that rating still held when hot, gives a wide safety margin over normal working pressures.

What customers say about our store

Brad a year ago

Quick and reliable service provided! - Scheduled an appointment with Wayne the other day for a Dry Ice order pick up, he will go over and above for his customers to make sure we are well taken care of. Even with a broken foot !

Thanks again Wayne!

You've got my business!

Wayne there has an excellent store, he has everything, really nice stuff at good prices, ultimately very fair compared to others. I will certainly be going back for everything I need. Got some things from a different place and spent 50% more, just go see Wayne first, he seems like he wants to help you out more than sell you out the door.
