Composition: Silica 60A is a powdered silica xerogel (silicon dioxide) that’s been optimized for column chromatography with or without elevated pressure. Its particle size, surface area, pH ≈ 7.2, and purity are designed for improved flow and maximum adsorption. This fine spherical particulate measures 37-63 microns (µm) and has a nominal pore size of 60 angstroms (Å).
Particle Size & pH: Silica 60A has a particle size of 37 µm to 63 µm and a neutral pH of 7.2.

Sold in 6 kg and 12 kg pails, and a 90 kg (55 gallon) drum.

Which size should I choose?
Most labs use the 6 kg or 12 kg pail. The 90 kg drum is the best value per kilogram for production.
