The Winged Sentry is a compact benchtop air filtration system that provides an energy-efficient, quiet, and economical solution for many fume extraction needs. This system features adjustable "wing flaps" to assist in directing fumes towards the unit's inlet, into the filter chamber, and away from the operator’s breathing zone. When used with the acrylic lid, this system offers a “hood-like” enclosure without the confines of an actual fume hood. The operator can place these wings in the most effective position for their particular application, or they can be positioned flat against the sides of the unit to conserve space. New for this line of benchtop fume extractors is the WSL2 – Model 300 Generation 2. This new improved unit offers an LED light and a user-friendly control panel that allows the operator to adjust the fan speed, light intensity, and monitor the filter’s saturation.
Appropriate filtration media are installed in the Winged Sentry based on the application being performed by the operator. HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended media [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehyde, Ammonia] are the most common filters for this unit.

The Winged Sentry wing flaps can be positioned to guide fumes toward the unit’s inlet for improved source capture. They can also be folded flat against the sides to conserve bench space when needed.
The Winged Sentry supports filtration selected for your application, including HEPA (up to 99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns and larger), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficient at 0.5 microns and larger), ULPA (up to 99.9995% efficient at 0.12 microns and larger), activated carbon, and specialty-blended media (e.g., acid gas, mercury, aldehyde, ammonia).
The Winged Sentry features a user-friendly control panel with fan speed control, LED light control, a digital Magnehelic gauge, and a digital display that shows filter pressure and runtime. A runtime reset button is included to help track filter service intervals.
