The USA Lab H280 is a compact and economical hotplate stirrer designed for everyday laboratory heating and magnetic mixing applications below 280°C. LED digital displays provide convenient temperature and speed monitoring, while PID-style control delivers plate accuracy of ±1°C with optional PT1000 feedback for accuracy up to ±0.5°C.
The H280 features a durable 5" × 5" stainless-steel work plate with ceramic coating for chemical resistance and efficient heat transfer. Its maintenance-free brushless DC motor provides smooth, stable stirring from 200 to 1,500 rpm for volumes up to 3 L of H2O, making it suitable for teaching laboratories, QA/QC workflows, sample preparation, and routine bench chemistry.
Built-in safety features include 320°C over-temperature protection and a persistent "HOT" warning above 50°C, including after power-down. The USA Lab H280 is TÜV certified to UL standards for laboratory safety and compliance.
